As a Personal Trainer, Mike’s commitment to excellence in fitness and sport has been an outstanding feature of his life. His passion for athletic achievement was evident throughout high school and college where he won numerous awards competing in track and field, basketball, football, soccer and cross country running. After finishing post-secondary Mike spent the next three years coaching basketball in the United States and Canada and also working in China and Thailand where he volunteered as a gym trainer.
For the past five years Mike has been training throughout western Canada. His professional training credentials include: B.C.R.P.A Certified Personal Trainer, B.C.R.P.A. Strength and Conditioning Specialist, YMCA Certified Fitness Leader, Sport Movement Level 1 Twist Conditioning, NESTA Certified Functional Training Specialist and St. John’s Ambulance First Aid/CPR. Mike’s experience with health and fitness around the world has given him a distinctly wholistic approach to personal training. He knows that achieving personal fitness requires a balanced approach to exercise, nutrition and inner discipline. Mike knows that people must believe in themselves in order to achieve optimal fitness. He never settles for mediocre results, and in every training session motivates clients with an effective blend of physical and mental challenge. Timothy has always had an invested interest in sports and athletics, participating in Rugby League and Union, Soccer as well as state level short distance track events from an early age. It wasn't until going through a period of anorexia and depression in his early twenties that Timothy discovered the true capacity of health, fitness and a holistic lifestyle.
Inspired by both other trainers and athletes, Timothy has spent the past 5 years immersing himself in the function of movement and how it relates to challenging and stimulating the human body and mind. Timothy is a B.C.R.P.A. Certified Personal Trainer and is certified in CPR and First Aid. Having trained one-on-one, small group and boot camp classes for the past 2 years, Timothy practices what he teaches and is constantly striving to increase his theoretical and practical kinesthetic knowledge to better unlock his client's full potential. Timothy's approach to personal training is that through discipline, balance and control of our mind and body, movement gives a higher quality of life and a better understanding of ourselves as individuals. He pushes each of his client to maximise their own potential and truly believes that the reward of a thing well done is to have done it. |

_Born and raised in Colombia Pilar has been physically activite since she was a child, participating in soccer, volleyball, rugby and any other sport she could during her youth.
In 1999, Pilar moved to Vancouver, British Columbia bringing that energy and drive with her. Before she knew it, Pilar was participating in her very first fitness competition — the Sandra Wickham Fitness Short Class Competition. She placed 2nd! From that moment, Pilar knew she wanted a career in fitness and soon became a Personal Trainer Pilar worked nearly 5 years for a large fitness corporation until 2008. After she decided to start her own company. PilarFit Personal Training was born, with revolutionary workouts and a challenging environment as the company’s main goals. In 2012 Pilar decide it that fitness is just like a team sport and decide to join forces with West Coast Fitness, Over the years, Pilar has helped many individuals push past their struggles and challenges to reach their goals As her passion perseveres, she continues to dedicate herself completely to helping people reach their personal fitness goals and lead an active and healthy lifestyle. Ali J. Chernoff is a Registered Dietitian and Nutrition consultant who is one of the 11% of BC Dietitians operating a private practice. Since 1993, Ali has been involved in numerous activities related to the field of nutrition, including dietitian services at many schools and sporting events and family counseling. She currently offers food tours that focus on shopping for families, diabetes education, and food label interpretation. She has been showcased in a variety of media formats including: CTV news, Breakfast Television, Chowtime, First Talk and the Shopping Bags, Chatelaine, Today's Parent, the Vancouver Sun, the Province, Ottawa Citizen and the Vancouver Courier, as well as News 1130, the Rutherford Show, and Evolution 107.9. Ali started a second company called Energy Essentials 24-7 Inc. to develop healthy whole foods such as a 7% M.F. Low Fat cheese, called Essential.
